We hope you'll join us and enjoy the charm of the historic Merrijig Inn! We pride ourselves on the cosy and genuinely homey touches throughout.
Here at Merrijig we offer 2 styles of accommodation. Our downstairs Suites (1 King & 3 Queen) are spacious and each have their own personality. Our famous Attic Rooms are upstairs in the historic part of the inn. They may be small - one gentleman remarked, “You couldn’t fall over up there if you tried! – but they are decidedly charming and definitely UNIQUE!"
The Merrijig breakfast
All tariffs include the Merrijig breakfast. Served in our Conservatory overlooking the garden daily, It’s a generous spread of fresh and poached seasonal fruits, local yoghurt, house-made breads and pastries, juices and coffee, and a single cooked breakfast… it’s a lot, but we like you well fed!
When you’re not sleeping, the house is yours to enjoy. Warmer months mean sunshine in the garden: check out our working kitchen garden, play a round of bocce, chat with our chickens, or simply bask all afternoon long.
The open fire in the guest lounge is perfect for winter nestling – grab a few magazines or peruse something from our excessive cookbook collection, or let yourself doze after a drink or two from one of our two bars. We want you to feel at home.
